World Heritage-listed K'Gari (Fraser Island) is the biggest sand island in the world and is located on the picturesque Fraser Coast, approximately a 3.5-hour drive from Brisbane. Bask on the Beaches of Noosa Heads and the Sunshine Coast
The Sunshine Coast, which stretches from Caloundra to Noosa Heads, is one of the most visited areas in all of South East Queensland. Known for its magnificent beaches, it's also a favorite vacation resort for Aussies, just around two hours north of the Gold Coast high-rises but apparently a world apart. The beaches on the Sunshine Coast range from quiet coves to world-famous surf spots.
